Equestrian
Barrington is synonymous with the word equestrian. Horses and horse lovers abound in our open countryside and wooded trails. Photographing the intense bond between horse and rider is an important spoke in the wheel of our portrait work.

 

We love the challenges of working with the horses. Their magnificence awes us and they definitely have our respect. Most do their best to be cooperative subjects. There’s an occasional stubborn horse in the mix… but a gentle nuzzle and a carrot chunk always wins them over.

 

Most notable is the deep and strong relationship between owners and their beloved equines. It’s powerful to witness and fulfilling to “tell” their story on canvas.
